Okibi

Privacy Policy

Last updated July 9, 2026

Okibi is operated by Computer Agent Labs, Inc., a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business in California (“Okibi,” “we,” “us”). This policy describes what we collect when you use okibi.ai and the Okibi CLI (together, the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Questions or requests: hello@okibi.ai.

What we collect

Account information. You sign in with GitHub. We receive and store your name, email address, avatar, and GitHub username. We do not receive or store your GitHub password.

Repository data and code. When you connect a repository, we access it through the permissions you grant our GitHub App (read-only access to the repositories you select). Your source code is processed to generate your CLI. See “How we handle your code” below.

Payment information. Paid plans are processed by our payment providers. We store your plan and billing status; we never see or store your card number, which goes directly to our payment processor (Stripe).

Usage information. We collect product analytics (pages viewed, features used, generation outcomes) and standard log data (browser type, IP address) to operate and improve the Service.

Communications. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.

How we handle your code

This is the part most users care about, so we’re specific:

  • Processing is transient. Each generation runs in an isolated, single-use sandbox. Your repository is cloned into that sandbox, used to generate your CLI, and destroyed with the sandbox when the run ends. We do not keep copies of your source code on our servers.
  • AI providers do not train on your code. Generation uses large language models from leading AI providers, accessed through their APIs under terms that do not permit using your code to train their models. We do not train models on your code either.
  • What we do keep is the product output: the generated CLI, its documentation, run logs, and metadata about your runs (timing, status, which repository). Run logs may quote small excerpts of your code where relevant to an error.
  • Access credentials are scoped and guarded. GitHub tokens used to clone your repositories are short-scoped, passed to sandboxes through private channels, and never written to logs.

How we use information

To provide and operate the Service; to process payments; to communicate with you about your account (e.g., workspace invitations, service notices); to understand usage and improve the product; to enforce our terms and protect the Service; and to comply with law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run Okibi, bound by their own obligations, in these categories: cloud hosting and infrastructure, AI model providers, payment processing, analytics, and email delivery. We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a corporate transaction (merger, acquisition), in which case this policy continues to apply to it.

Retention

Account and workspace data is kept while your account is active. If you delete a workspace, or ask us to delete your account at hello@okibi.ai, the associated data is deleted from our production systems, with residual copies in backups removed on our backup rotation schedule. Source code is not retained beyond the run that processes it, as described above.

Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, isolate each generation run in its own sandbox, and restrict access to production systems. No system is perfectly secure; if you find a vulnerability, please report it to hello@okibi.ai and we’ll respond promptly.

Your rights and choices

You can access and update account information in the app, and delete workspaces (which deletes their data). For access, deletion, or other requests about your personal information (including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act or, where applicable, the GDPR), email hello@okibi.ai. We will verify and respond as the law requires. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy. If the changes are material, we’ll notify you (e.g., by email or an in-product notice) before they take effect. The date above always reflects the current version.
