# Changelog

> What changed in each release of the okibi CLI, newest first.

Changes to the `okibi` client, newest first. The newest version is always listed in [releases.okibi.ai/latest.json](https://releases.okibi.ai/latest.json), and `okibi update` installs it.

## 0.2.4 (2026-10-16)

- Private testing now uses existing versions only. `okibi clis testing publish` is removed. Create a version with `okibi clis publish`, then select it with `okibi clis testing set`.
- `okibi clis skill publish` always publishes to the official release. `--channel` is deprecated, and `--channel testing` is rejected with the steps above.
- `okibi clis testing` with no subcommand prints its help.

## 0.2.3 (2026-10-15)

- New `okibi auth publisher` connects the GitHub App that publishes a CLI's source into your own account. `okibi auth publisher status` checks the connection.
- New `okibi auth github status`, `okibi auth github manage`, and `okibi auth github remove-repo`. Repositories refresh after you connect GitHub, and `okibi repos` keeps your saved list when GitHub can't be reached.
- New `okibi billing` commands. `okibi workspaces` can now create, rename, reset, and delete workspaces, and manage members and invitations.
- New `okibi clis changes` and `okibi clis publish` build commits on the CLI's repository as the next version. Also new: `okibi clis project-name` and `okibi clis mcp`.
- New `okibi runs cancel`, `okibi runs delete`, `okibi runs history`, and `okibi runs transcript`.
- Generated CLI versions show as semantic versions. okibi ships a native Windows ARM64 build; rerun the installer to switch from the x64 build.

## 0.2.2 (2026-10-07)

- Feedback on a finished run reopens the same run as a repair, at no extra generation charge. The run ID and version stay the same.
- `okibi status` shows a repair's outcome separately, and says when the previous artifact is still available.
- `okibi message --help` explains how repairs work.

## 0.2.1 (2026-10-05)

- New `okibi message` sends an instruction to a queued or running generation without opening the terminal UI.
- `--request-id` makes retries safe, and `--wait` waits until the agent accepts the message.
- New `okibi message status` checks whether the agent accepted a message.

## 0.2.0 (2026-09-29)

- okibi keeps itself up to date. New `okibi update` installs the newest signed release, and a background check does the same. Set `OKIBI_NO_AUTO_UPDATE=1` to turn the background check off.
- Running `okibi` with no command opens the terminal UI.
- `okibi generate` accepts `--docs` for a public API docs site, and `--spec` takes a local file as well as a URL. New flags: `--review`, `--spec-only`, and `--api-base-url`.
- New `okibi spec` commands show, edit, approve, and reject specs.
- New `okibi clis` commands manage releases, private testing, installs, SKILL.md, insights, feedback, domains, hosting, and endpoints. Also new: `okibi identity`, `okibi workspaces`, and `okibi repos`.
- `okibi auth login` finishes in the terminal after you approve in the browser. `--device-code` stays available for SSH and headless machines.

## 0.1.0 (2026-07-13)

- First public release, with `okibi auth`, `okibi keys`, `okibi generate`, `okibi status`, `okibi runs`, `okibi pull`, and `okibi attach`.
